Most people who say they hate sunscreen mean they hate the white cast. This one goes on clear and hydrates enough to replace the moisturiser step for a lot of people.

Removing the usual objection turns a chore into a step, and the hydration is what makes the step stick — a tube that also does the moisturiser's work survives a rushed morning, and a rushed morning is exactly when protection gets dropped. In deep winter keep a cream underneath it.

Three ways to use it

Every morning — the last step, two fingers' length for face and neck.
Instead of moisturiser — for a lot of people the hyaluronic acid makes that step unnecessary.
Under makeup — it absorbs fast enough not to pill under a base.

Before you buy it

A no white cast sunscreen removes the usual objection, but it still needs applying at the tested quantity — about two fingers' length — or the SPF50+ on the tube is theoretical. Reapply through the day if you are out in it. If your skin runs very dry in winter, keep a moisturiser underneath; the four-in-one claim holds up in spring and summer more than in January. A good first korean sun cream for anyone who has given up on them.
