Description

Every panel is doing something different. One side is yellow and white stripes, the other is blocked in pale blue and lilac, and there is a small cartoon patch on the chest that you will either love immediately or not at all.

It is knitted in blocks rather than printed, so the colours meet at proper seams and the whole thing has the slightly handmade look that makes patchwork work.

The fabric

A soft cotton-blend knit, light enough to wear all day indoors, with a lofty yarn that keeps it warm without weight. Functional button front rather than a decorative one.

How it fits

Sized S–M, cut relaxed. Nothing about it is close-fitting, so it layers over a tee without pulling at the blocks.

Looking after it

Cold wash on a delicate cycle inside a mesh bag, dried flat. Fine knits pill where they rub, so turn it inside out for the wash and take a comb to it twice a season rather than picking at it by hand.

It is the loudest cute fashion style piece in the shop and the one most likely to get a compliment from a stranger — properly aesthetic cute clothes rather than a safe approximation, and the first thing people photograph for cute clothes inspo.
