Shipping Policy: How Your Order Leaves Houston

You found it, you claimed it, and now it has to travel. This page covers where your order ships from, what you see at checkout, when tracking reaches your inbox, and what to do if a package goes missing on the way to you.

How shipping works here

Every Oops, Mine Co. order is packed and sent from Houston, Texas. Our address is 12712 West Lake Houston Parkway, Suite B-4014, Houston, TX 77044 — a mailing address for orders and returns, not a shop you can walk into. Placing an order means you accept the terms on this page, so read it before you pay.

The short version: shipping is priced at checkout, for your address, before you pay. Tracking follows by email as soon as your package leaves us. Everything below is the long version, one question at a time.

Processing and delivery times

Processing time is the stretch between your order reaching us and your package leaving our hands: picking the piece, checking it, packing it, printing the label. Delivery time is what the carrier adds on top of that.

We pack during our hours — Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm Central Time, closed Sunday. Orders that land outside those hours are picked up when we are back at the desk. Once your package is with the carrier, the carrier's own estimate travels with your tracking number, and it is their best guess rather than a promise: weather, holidays and customs all have opinions of their own.

What shipping costs

Shipping is priced at checkout. Put your pieces in the cart, enter the address you want them sent to, and the rate for that address appears with your total before you pay. Nothing we charge is added after payment. International orders are the one exception: customs can add duties on arrival, which is covered below. Any sales tax that applies to your order is shown the same way, on the same screen.

If a rate looks wrong for where you live, stop before you pay and email hello@oopsmineco.com with your address and what you are trying to order. We would rather sort it out with you than have you guess.

Carriers and where we ship

Your package is handed to a mail carrier once the label is printed, and from that point the carrier's scans are the record of where it is. The carrier handling your order is named in your shipping email, together with the tracking number.

  • Packed and sent from Houston, Texas, United States.
  • The carrier for your order is named in your shipping email, with the tracking number.
  • Where we ship: the United States and Canada. Enter your address at checkout and the rate for it appears with your total before you pay.
  • Address types: enter the address you want to use at checkout. If it cannot be served, checkout will say so before you pay — and you can always email us first.

Tracking your order

When your package leaves us you get an email with a tracking number and a link to follow it. Check your spam folder if it has not turned up; shipping emails have a habit of hiding there. The first carrier scan can lag a day behind the label, so a tracking page that only says the label was created is normal at the start.

If the tracking still has not moved after that, send your order number to hello@oopsmineco.com and we will open it with the carrier for you. You do not have to sit on hold with anyone.

Changing your shipping address

Read your address back to yourself before you pay. A missing apartment or suite number is all it takes for a carrier to give up and send the package back to Houston.

If you spot a mistake, email hello@oopsmineco.com with your order number as soon as you can. While the order is still with us we can change the label. Once it has been handed to the carrier the label is out of our hands, we cannot reroute it, and the package has to run its course before anything can be done.

International orders, duties and taxes

Packages leaving the United States can pick up customs duties, import taxes and carrier handling fees. Those are set by the country your order is going to, not by us. They are collected by the carrier or by customs, usually before the package is handed over, and they are not part of the total you pay at checkout. They are the buyer's to pay.

Customs paperwork travels with every international package and lists what is inside at the price paid, as the rules require — we cannot mark an order as a gift or write a lower value. Customs can also hold a package for inspection, which adds days no carrier can predict.

Lost, late or damaged packages

Boxes get dropped and scans get missed. If your package arrives damaged, arrives short of what you ordered, or the tracking says delivered and it is nowhere to be found, email hello@oopsmineco.com and tell us as soon as you can. Carriers close their own claim windows quickly, so the sooner we hear, the more we can do.

Send your order number, a photo of the outer packaging and a photo of the piece if it was hurt on the way. Keep the box and the padding until the claim is settled, because carriers ask to see them. Then let us do the chasing.

  • Email us with your order number and photos as soon as you notice.
  • Keep the packaging until the claim is closed.
  • Check with neighbors and around the building first — carriers tuck packages in odd places.
  • Phone: 346-847-6606, Monday through Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am–5:00pm Central Time.

Returns, exchanges and sizing

Shipping brings a piece to you; returns take it back, and they live on their own page. Return windows, the RMA number you need before mailing anything back, store credit, the restocking fee and which pieces are final sale are all set out in the refund and returns policy.

The easiest return is the one that never happens, so check the size guide before you order — pieces sourced from Korea and Thailand often run smaller than US sizing. More short answers sit on the FAQ page, and if yours is not there, the contact page has every way to reach a person.

Questions

When will my order ship?

We pack from Houston during our hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm Central Time. Orders placed outside those hours are picked up when we are back at the desk. An email with tracking reaches you as soon as your package is on its way, and the carrier's own delivery estimate travels with that tracking number.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is priced at checkout. Add your pieces to the cart, enter the address you want them sent to, and the rate for that address shows with your total before you pay. Nothing we charge is added afterward — the one exception is customs on international orders. If the rate looks wrong for where you live, email hello@oopsmineco.com with your address and what you are ordering, and we will look at it with you.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Enter your address at checkout and you will see whether we can reach you and what it costs. International packages can pick up customs duties, import taxes and carrier handling fees set by the country they are going to. Those are collected by the carrier or by customs, are not part of your checkout total, and are yours to pay.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Email hello@oopsmineco.com with your order number the moment you spot the mistake. While the order is still with us we can change the label. Once it has been handed to the carrier we cannot reroute it, and a package with an incomplete address tends to come back to Houston, which costs both of us time.

My tracking has not moved. What should I do?

Give it a day. The tracking number is created when the label is printed, and the first carrier scan often lags behind the package itself. If there is still nothing after that, send your order number to hello@oopsmineco.com and we will open it with the carrier rather than leaving you to do it.

What if my package arrives damaged?

Email hello@oopsmineco.com with your order number, a photo of the outer packaging and a photo of the piece. Keep the box and the padding until the claim is settled, since carriers ask to see them. Tell us as soon as you notice — carriers close their own claim windows fast, and we would rather chase it early.

My tracking says delivered but I did not get it. What now?

Check with neighbors and around the building first, because carriers tuck packages in odd places, then email hello@oopsmineco.com with your order number. We will open it with the carrier and keep you posted. The sooner you tell us, the more the carrier will still look at.
