Description

Corduroy in a deep organic brown, cut high at the waist and straight down the leg. The line is clean and does not taper, so they read as sharp rather than casual, cord or no cord.

The fabric

Cut to a 27–28 inch waist, with an elastic back waistband that stretches to 32 and keeps the front flat. Rise 12 inches, inseam 26 inches, so they sit high and finish above the ankle.

Looking after it

Cold wash inside out and hang to dry. Corduroy flattens where it is pressed, so keep an iron off the wales and steam it from the reverse instead. Brushing it along the wale after a wash lifts the pile back.
