The 24 inch inseam is the reason these are here. They are cut short on purpose, to end above the boot, which is the alteration most jeans need and almost none come with.

The fabric

A substantial structured denim with a little give. Five-pocket styling and a smooth front over the hip, so nothing interrupts the line when a top is tucked in.

How it fits

The back of the waistband is elastic, which is what makes the sizing generous: the S stretches to a 27 inch waist, the L to 32. The front stays flat, so they still look like proper jeans. Rise 11 inches, inseam 24 inches.

Looking after it

Wash it inside out, cold, as rarely as you can stand – denim fades at the fold lines first and a hot wash takes the indigo with it. Hang to dry rather than tumbling, which is what shortens a leg by half an inch.
