A blazer knitted rather than cut and sewn: 70% wool in a cashmere blend, handmade, soft to the hand and with a drape a woven jacket never has. It holds a shoulder line without any padding in it.
It is the most expensive thing in the shop and the one that will still be in rotation in five years.
The fabric
Seventy per cent wool, blended with cashmere, knitted by hand. Collarless with a clean V-neck, which leaves room for whatever is underneath — a shirt collar, a chain, a polo neck.
How it fits
Chest 42 inches, length 26 inches, sized L. Cut to sit open rather than to fasten, so the fit is forgiving across the back.
Looking after it
Cold hand wash or a wool cycle, and dry it flat rather than on a hanger – a knit this weight will stretch at the shoulders in a season if you hang it wet. Fold it to store. A cool iron under a cloth if the hem needs settling, never directly on the rib.
For petite clothes for work a knit blazer solves the sleeve problem a structured jacket creates, and as a korean fashion jacket it is the quietest piece we have — the korean fashion winter layer you keep.
