What makes this Asian fashion store different

Plenty of shops buy whatever a supplier has by the crate that month, price it low and hope. We do the slower version. Pieces come in one at a time from small makers and boutiques in Korea, Thailand and a few other countries, and only when something about them earns a second look — a sleeve that falls differently, a knit with real weight in the hand, a print you have not already met on ten other pages this week.

So the rail keeps moving. A style we love may arrive as a run of a dozen, sell through, and never come back in the same color. That is the honest trade of Asian fashion for women who would rather not wear what everyone else is wearing: fewer of each piece, more pieces worth having, and no pretending a restock is on its way when it is not.

  • Picked piece by piece from small runs, never by the catalog page
  • Fabric first — weight, drape, and how it behaves after a wash
  • One detail you can point at: a cuff, a button, a print nobody else is showing
  • A wide color range, and as many sizes as each maker offers

Korea: clean lines, clever detail

Korea is where this range started and it is still the biggest part of it. The fit runs neat through the shoulder and easy everywhere else, so a plain knit reads polished with almost no effort from you. Look for cropped knits, midi skirts with some swing, denim cut differently from the usual US shape, and layering pieces that earn their place three seasons out of four. If you want the stage-inspired end of it — short pleats, cropped everything, sneakers with the lot — that sits in the K-pop edit.

Thailand: color you can feel across the room

Thailand brings the color. Light fabric for hot afternoons, prints with more going on in them than a plain floral, and hand-finished touches — an embroidered edge, a covered button, a tie that is properly sewn down rather than tacked on. Thai pieces travel well too: they pack small, come out of the bag looking fine, and read relaxed or dressed depending on the shoe you put with them. They sit happily beside the Korean pieces, which is how most of this rail gets worn — one from each, one outfit.

Vietnam, and an honest note about what we do not stock

Asian fashion is not one look, and we are not going to pretend we cover all of it. Korea and Thailand are the backbone. Vietnam and a few other countries turn up when a piece earns the spot. What you will not find here is South Asian fashion in the traditional sense — no saris, no lehengas, no salwar kameez. Those are their own trades and deserve a seller who knows them properly. Better we say so now than waste your afternoon.

Three ways to wear it this week

Almost nothing here asks for a whole new closet behind it. Your Asian fashion style can read soft, sharp or a little playful off the same three pieces — the shoes decide which. It is everyday style rather than costume, so build any of these from one order and you have a week of outfits.

  • Weekday quiet — a Korean knit top, a midi skirt, flat sneakers, one good earring. Four minutes, done.
  • Dinner, no fuss — a printed Thai piece, a heeled sandal, hair up. Let the print talk and keep the jewelry small.
  • Travel day — wide-leg linen, a cropped knit over it, a bag you wear across you. Comes out of the suitcase ready.

Fit and sizing, before you add to cart

Sizing from Asia is not US sizing, and the gap is wide enough to matter. One maker's large can be the next one's medium, so the product page carries the maker's measurements — bust, waist, hip, length — wherever we have them, instead of leaning on a letter. Take a piece you already wear and love, measure it flat, and match the numbers. That garment tells you more than any chart will.

Between two sizes, go with the one that suits your largest measurement: a knit can be belted, a shoulder seam cannot move. Where a style runs small, or the fabric has no give, we say so on the product page. The size guide covers the how-to-measure part, and if you are stuck between two, write to us from the contact page and you get a real opinion back. If it still is not right when it lands, returns come back as store credit and need to be postmarked within seven days of the purchase date — the return policy has the rest.

New pieces land in small batches

New pieces land in small batches through the season rather than on a fixed day of the month. They turn up on Facebook Live and go out to the email list as they land. That is the only reason to move while a piece is still sitting there: runs are small, sizes go unevenly, and on a sold-out style the most we can honestly promise is to watch for something close. No countdown clocks, no invented "almost gone" banners.

Everything on this page is chosen for women, in as many sizes as each small batch allows. Small runs mean the mix changes often, so if you want first look at the next one, the email list is the shortest route.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Can I wear this to the office?

Most of it, yes. The Asian fashion women buy from us goes straight into a normal work week — desk, errands, dinner — because that is what we buy for, not one photo. Knits, midi skirts, easy trousers and simple dresses make up the bulk of the rail, and a louder print behaves under a plain cardigan. If your office leans formal, stay with the quieter colors and check the length and neckline on the product page before you order.

Where do your pieces come from?

Most of the Asian fashion we carry comes from Korea and Thailand, with Vietnam close behind and other countries in the mix when a piece earns the spot. We buy from small makers and boutiques, one style at a time, which is why the rail changes so often. Oops, Mine Co. is an online boutique based in Houston, TX, and our owner chooses every piece herself.

Do you sell South Asian fashion, like saris or lehengas?

No. Our range sits in East and Southeast Asia — Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and nearby. Saris, lehengas and salwar kameez are their own trades, and buying them well takes knowledge we do not have. What you will find here is the everyday side: knits, dresses, skirts, denim and separates you can wear on a Tuesday and again on Saturday.

What sizes do you carry?

As many as each maker offers on the style. Sizing from Asia tends to run smaller than US sizing, so we ask for the full run wherever it exists and put the maker's measurements on the product page whenever we have them. Compare those numbers with something already hanging in your closet rather than guessing from a letter — the size guide walks through how to measure and what to do when you are between two.

Will you restock a piece I missed?

Sometimes, and rarely in the same color. Runs are small and a lot of what we buy is one batch only. The quicker route is the email list: you hear when new pieces land, and that is usually where the closest match turns up. Tell us what you were after and we will keep an eye out for it while we are buying.

Can I visit a store?

We are online only. The Houston, TX address on our contact page takes mail, not visitors, so there is no rail to flick through in person. What you get instead is the whole range in one place, Facebook Live for a closer look at fabric and fit, and an inbox you can write to before you buy. Ask us anything and you get a straight answer.
